1892 Columbian Exposition Commemorative Half Dollar NGC MS-64

The current coin lists as: 1892 Columbian Exposition Commemorative Half Dollar. First commemorative coin minted in the United States. Minted to commemorate the quatracentenary of the landing of Christopher Columbus in the New World and the Columbian Exposition of 1893 in Chicago. Obverse face depicts portrait of Christopher Columbus in right profile. Reverse face features the Santa Maria, Columbus’ flagship, sailing left. Beneath it are two hemispheres of the earth. These bisect the date 1492. This coin comes certified and sealed in a tamper-proof NGC holder. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions.
