1867 ~ 1967 Canada Confederation Centennial Commemorative Silver $1 KM# 70 24K Plated
The current coin lists as: 1967 Canadian silver dollar. This was a special issue to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the union of all British North American colonies into the Dominion of Canada on July 1, 1867. This particular coin has been plated with 24 karat gold. This is not a procedure which was done at the Royal Canadian Mint. The coin is composed of 80% silver with a balance of copper and has 0.60 troy ounces of pure silver. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions.
