$1 Great Depression Scrip Atlantic County New Jersey July 1 1933

The current note lists as: $1 Scrip note. This note was issued for Atlantic County New Jersey July 1, 1933 when Enoch ‘Nucky’ Johnson was the county treasurer. Unlike his fictional counterpart on the HBO series Boardwalk Empire, Johnson did not die in 1931 but continued to serve as the treasurer of Atlantic County and the famous Atlantic City until 1941. This note was paid and has received its cancellation marks. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions. We are open to offers.
Let’s discuss offers: If we have “make an offer enabled”, please make a reasonable offer. We try to pay a fair price when we buy inventory,
so 30% off offers will be ignored. eBay makes more per item when you buy it than I do.
If we do not have that option enabled, please DO NOT email us about a lower price.

Let’s discuss feedback: We are not perfect. When we make a mistake, we will admit to it and fix it. We respectfully request that
you leave 5 star feed back to help maintain our seller fees low. Most people do not realize that 4 star seller
ratings make seller’s fees go up. Please consider that when leaving feedback.

We use barcodes to track all our items. This is the little 4 digit code, 91ML, written on the holder.

Your item will ship in a white poly bubble mailer as shown:
