1973 United Nations Peace Sterling Silver Medal in Lucite Display Case
The current coin lists as: 1973 United Nations Peace Medal. This was the third time a medal of this type had been issued. The obverse of the medal displays a flying dove with an olive leaf sprig in its beak. The dove appears against a stylized outline of a world globe. Along the right half of the medal is the repeated word ‘peace’ written in Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish. The reverse side displays the emblem of the United Nations. This medal comes with a protective acrylic capsule and clear lucite display stand. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions.
