1767 Guadeloupe Countermarked 12 Deniers of Louis XV 1793 Republic France KM# 1
Up for sale is a bronze coin initially minted in Paris in 1767 for circulation throughout the archipelago of Guadeloupe. When this coin was struck, it was during the reign of King Louis V whose monogram can still be found on the reverse written as, “L. XV.” In 1793, these coins were counterstamped with the letters “RF” to signify that France was a republic. Please view photos and feel free to ask questions. We are open to offers.
Let’s discuss offers: If we have “make an offer enabled”, please make a reasonable offer. We try to pay a fair price when we buy coins,
so 30% off offers will be ignored. eBay makes more per coin when you buy it than I do.
If we do not have that option enabled, please DO NOT email us about a lower price.
Let’s discuss feedback: We are not perfect. When we make a mistake, we will admit to it and fix it. We respectfully request that
you leave 5 star feed back to help maintain our seller fees low. Most people do not realize that 4 star seller
ratings make seller’s fees go up. Please consider that when leaving feedback.
We use barcodes to track all our items. This is the little 4 digit code, 2W9P, written on the holder.
Your item will ship in a white poly bubble mailer as shown:
